Las Vegas – Palms Pool, now open, is heating things up with the return of Las Vegas' ultimate pool party, Ditch Fridays on Friday, May 3 beginning with a star-studded lineup of performances and appearances throughout the summer.

The best excuse to skip work on a Friday and get the weekend started early is back with an A-list roster of hip-hop royalty to kick off the summer. This year, Palms Pool will celebrate the start of Ditch Fridays with hip-hop icons Busta Rhymes, Redman and Method Man, and Sean "Diddy" Combs for a "Ditch Weekend" full of performances and non-stop entertainment. "A long time Las Vegas pool party staple, this year, we're taking Ditch Fridays up a notch," said Bronson Olimpieri, Vice President and General Manager of the 9Group. "With A-list talent, an unrivaled scene, cold cocktails and great food, Palms Pool is going to be the best place to spend summer for both tourists and locals alike."

Also this season hungry pool-goers will be treated to a delicious menu of American bites from HERAEA by The ONE Group, the new vibe-driven sports restaurant and lounge whose patio overlooks all the action of the main pool. The menu for cabanas, daybed guests or al fresco diners at HERAEA includes a selection of refreshing snacks like fruit and veggie platters, salads and wraps, or savory items like the popular Piquillo Pepper Poppers or the Beef Satay Skewers. Thirst quenching beverages include buckets of domestic and imported beers or original cocktails like the Cîroc Coconut frozen cocktail – a mix of Cîroc Coconut, fresh coconut water and Calahua Crema de Coco served in a fresh coconut.

Guests can still have all of the action of the casino floor poolside and take advantage of a live blackjack pit on the weekends beginning in April.

At Palms Pool the party never ends – the jet-set crowd can have fun in the sun all summer long with the Palms Pool Season Pass. For just $350, guests are covered for admission seven days a week during regular pool hours, even on holidays. Other perks include bypassing the lines with VIP admission for the pass holder and a guest, as well as no minimums for daybeds or cabanas Monday – Thursday. Palms is also offering the Palms Cabana Package, where guests who book a two-night stay in a newly renovated Premier Room or Ivory Suite, will receive a complimentary cabana Sunday through Thursday. Palms Casino Resort Unveils a Swank Rec Room with a View
The View Recreation Space and Bar Debuts March 15

Las Vegas – Palms Casino Resort opens The View, a unique recreational space with a stylish bar scene and of course, spectacular views of the city. Part big-city bar elevated by the charm of old-school board games, billiards and shuffleboard, The View is an upscale lounge perfect for casual conversation, cocktails and eclectic musical offerings. Located atop the Fantasy Tower between Nove Italiano and Moon Nightclub, The View is the perfect transition spot from dinner- to-nightclub or a final destination for a nightcap.

Guests are welcomed to a warm and inviting environment with open seating, full bars and floor to ceiling windows with breathtaking vistas of Las Vegas. Palms Casino Resort Transforms Into Destination Spring Break
Student-friendly room and nightlife offers await spring break party-goers through March

Las Vegas – Destination Spring Break at Palms Casino Resort will be the place for college co-eds to let off a little steam by day at ghostbar Dayclub or Palms Pool (opening March 15), and hit some of Las Vegas’ best party spots at Moon Nightclub or ghostbar by night. With exclusive packages and offers for students, Palms promises to be the ultimate college spring break destination.

$69 Hosted Bar Package
Through the month of March, students with champagne taste and a beer budget can revel in Palms’ world-famous nightlife and take advantage of a $69 hosted bar package which includes complimentary admission and all-you-can drink at ghostbar and Moon Nightclub until 1 a.m. Sponsored options include Russian Standard Vodka, Red Bull, Bacardi, Miller Lite and champagne. Students looking to book this package must use the code “SPRINGBREAK” for online sales or show their student ID for in-person sales to receive the discounted ticket (normally $110) for the night and gratuity is included.

Drink Specials at Moon, ghostbar and Palms Pool
Students with a valid student ID may enjoy $5 Miller Lites and $8 Absolut cocktails all March long at ghostbar (including GBDC), Moon and Palms Pool. Students must show student ID or credential at the door to receive special pricing wristband.

Room Package
Room specials with rates starting at $69 per night include a $50 food and beverage credit (cannot be used toward hosted bar package).

Prix-Fixe Dining

Palms Raises the Bar with New Beverage Outlets
Palms Expands Spirit Offerings with Openings of Scarlet and SOCIAL

Las Vegas – Raise a glass to the debut of Scarlet and SOCIAL, two dynamic new venues mixing up the beverage scene at Palms Casino Resort. Scarlet, the recently opened intimate cocktail lounge, and SOCIAL, the dazzling new whiskey-centric casino centerpiece opening January 25, are adding a spirited take on imbibing. With individual focuses and unique offerings, there is something for everyone whether guests are looking to grab a quick drink in a casual setting or indulge in top-shelf spirits in a highly stylized locale.

Scarlet
Scarlet, the sophisticated mixology bar from 9Group Las Vegas, is now serving in a dramatically lit, red-hued 200-square-foot space directly adjacent to N9NE Steakhouse. The exclusive space is set to become one of Las Vegas’ most treasured hidden gems.

Scarlet invites guests on a drinking journey through a diverse menu featuring original shots, signature cocktails and infused spirits created by Francesco Lafranconi, the Executive Director of Mixology and Spirits Educator for Southern Wine and Spirits of Nevada in combination with 9Group bartenders. Some of Scarlet’s specialty concoctions include shots served s’more style or with a carbonated candy chaser, cocktails like the Alive & Well combine Platino Rum, fresh lime sour, grapefruit sorbet and maraschino mist and a seasonal list of infused spirits such as the banana-bread infused tequila will change often.

SOCIAL
Also, coming to Palms on January 25 is SOCIAL. As the name alludes, the new center bar will be the social hub of the property located at the heart of the renovated casino floor. SOCIAL will offer a broad selection of beverages with an emphasis on whiskey featuring a collection of over 30 unique labels, single malts and limited edition bourbons. SOCIAL will boast an inventive list of all whiskey-based cocktails with such libations including the Socialite, a mix of Wild Turkey Honey, Aperol, sweet Vermouth, lemon juice and raspberries and the signature Social Misfit, a mix of Bulliet Rye, Disaronno, White Peach Nagomi, and lemon juice served in a branded flask memento. SOCIAL will mix their own barrel-aged cocktails, serve whiskey flights and allow guests to experiment with free whiskey samples.

Featuring dramatic lighting fixtures, plush booths, intimate tables and open sightlines of the action on the gaming floor, SOCIAL will be the ideal place to meet for a drink or spend a night on the town in a comfortable yet chic setting. Guests can also participate in special events like “Mixology Days” offering professional tips on proper cocktail preparation, or stay social by enrolling in the Whiskey SOCIAL club which will feature exclusive tastings by master distillers.

LAS VEGAS (October 17, 2012) – NOVE Italiano at Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas and Labor Wines introduce ‘Sunday Feast’, a new family-style dinner offered each quarter. Featuring a set seasonal menu and a comfortable atmosphere, the new social dining experience launches with Labor Wines & Local Swine event on November 4 at 6 p.m.

The feast features a four-course meal prepared by NOVE’s Executive Chef Geno Bernardo paired with Labor Wines from founder and Las Vegas resident Corey Nyman. Guests, whether strangers or not, are encouraged to interact by using provided conversation-starter cards while dining together at a large communal table. The cards also will serve as raffle tickets to win the many prizes up for grabs.

With a focus on local produce and fall flavors, Chef Geno will provide pork from local heritage pigs raised at his farm located in Nevada. Taking the farm-to-table philosophy one step further, Geno established this small farm to fulfill his produce needs for the restaurant. LAS VEGAS (October 1, 2012) – The beast is back at Palms Casino Resort with Ghostbar Dayclub (GBDC), Las Vegas’ first high-energy daytime extravaganza. The weekly party returns every Saturday at 1 p.m., encouraging guests to don playful costumes while indulging in adult-friendly piñatas, high-end beer bongs, choreographed Go-Gos, themed costume parties, music by world-renowned DJs, delicious eats and much more inside ghostbar, the sultry and sophisticated indoor-outdoor lounge and sky deck located 55 floors above the famous Las Vegas Strip.

Last year, GBDC introduced this new breed of dayclubbing to Las Vegas attracting party monsters from all over the world as well as an extensive list of celebrity clientele. The phenomenon returns for a second, more over-the-top year featuring:

• Daytime Debauchery – There’s never a dull moment at GBDC! • Street Treats – Finger lickin’ good Italian Sausage sandwiches and Vienna Beef Frankfurters will be served from a classic street cart on ghostbar’s famous party deck. Created by N9NE Steakhouse’s Executive Chef Barry Dakake, the daytime treats will be served on freshly made potato buns. The sausages will be paired with grilled onions and peppers while the dogs will be drizzled with N9NE’s house-made Rhode Island hot wiener sauce.
• GBDC VIP – GBDC takes table service a step further this year with themed tables and complementary fun toys including hand-held bubble machines, noise makers, feather boas, oversized glasses and other costume items. From day to night, the spooky and sexy costumed partiers will compete in chilling and even more thrilling costume contests while enjoying electrifying music in transformed clubs for the holiday. Whether scary, bizarre or risqué, the winners are chosen by crowd’s applause on a decibel reader. Night of the Killer Costumes at Rain Nightclub – The scary and sassy come out to play for Palms’ largest Halloween celebration, Night of the Killer Costumes. Partygoers will engage in naughty behavior while enjoying beats by DJ Zen Freeman and a wicked costume contest. The Best Overall Costume will win $10,000 and the Sexiest Costume wins $5,000. Haunted House at ghostbar – The pulsating house music by DJ Kevin Brown with DJ Casanova transforms ghostbar into a haunted house for the most sinister of tempters and temptresses. The Best Overall Costume takes home $1,000 with second place taking $500. Doors open at 8 p.m.

Dark Side of the Moon at Moon Nightclub – Moon Nightclub hosts a dark Fancy Sauce in honor of Halloween. With spooktacular confetti, lights and visual effects, Moon will offer a gourmet blend of the best party ingredients masterly crafted for clubgoers to dance the night away with DJ Alie Layus and Kid Conrad. The costume contest will award $5,000 to the Best Overall Costume and $1,500 to second place. Doors open at 11 p.m.
